YouTube Tutorial Video

Hi Everyone,

I'm back... sort of. I made a quick YouTube video the other day and I wanted to post it on my blog. I've been really into designs and things lately so I decided to make a simple tutorial. So, here it is:

It's a Photoshop Tutorial. It's a really easy and simple tutorial explaining how to get an image within text. If you have any questions or quieries, don't hesitate to ask!

Pets

Hi everyone!

I know that I haven't made a post in a while, I've been busy and haven't done much so there isn't much to post about. So, I thought that I'd tell you about the pets we have.

Obviously you know Charlie because he has been on my blog before (here) and he is just the cutest dog ever. He is just over 1 year old and still loves his mum's cuddles. Charlie is a Schoodle (Shitzhu x Poodle), he is very intelligent and obeys commands pretty well and loves going on walks.

Charlie

Bonnie is our other dog, she is an outside dog and barks if anyone walks past our house. Bonnie is a 8 year old Labrador, she is getting old and our back stairs are becoming a hindrance on her back legs but she is still managing.

Bonnie

Oliver is one of our cats, he was the first cat we got that I can remember getting. We got him years ago, I'm pretty sure he is 9 years old. Oliver is a part Persian Cat. He is super cute and loves attention, food and getting belly rubs. Oliver is an inside cat although he likes to roll in the grass sometimes. We got Oliver from the RSPCA, he is one of the best cats we have ever had.

Oliver

Tiberius is our other cat, he is about 3 years old now. He is a 'typical' Tabby cat that has short straight hair. He has a very unique pattern on his fur. He has white paws, a white belly and a around his mouth is white with a cute pink nose. Tiberius is an inside cat as well. He loves to lay on top of me when I'm in bed at night, he purrs really loudly.

Tiberius

That's all our pets, all four of them. Surprisingly they all get along nicely despite them being all different ages and a mixture of cats and dogs. I hate to say I have a favourite but I do like Charlie's company because he always wants my attention.

That's it for today's post, I'd like to say that I will post more regularly but I have a feeling that I won't hold up to my deal.

L'oreal 2-Step Lipstick Review

Hello everyone!

At Christmas time I gave my sister a L'oreal Paris Infallible 2-step lipstick. When I glanced at it in the shop and I just picked it up i thought it was a pinky colour but when she had it on her lips the other day and I noticed a purple shimmer out the corner of my eye and she had that on (who knew I was so good at picking up good random products?)

I was not expecting the colour to look so glamorous on the lips but it does! There are so many good things about the lipstick. There is a fine line between this being a lipstick and a lipgloss so I'm just going to call it a lipstick. The bristles on the applicator are easy to use and spreads the gloss on evenly and well. It's really handy for on the go use to just slap on your lips and for touch ups you know it's going to stay on and last for a while. There doesn't look like is a lot of product in the tube but there surprisingly is and a little goes a long way.

It's the length of a pen (which is handy for a handbag!)
Colour: 208 Lasting Mauve
You can only just see the gorgeous purpley shimmer
In the Infallible 2-step range there is a really great selection of colours in the whole range. The best thing is that the colours are very pigmented and they always look so good on your lips. When both the balm and the gloss are combined they give a perfect 'seal' of approval to your lips with wonderful coverage for a lasting look.

finished product!

So there you go, there is my opinion on the 2-step lipstick. I hope I gave you enough information on the product and an in depth review (hopefully). That's it from me today. I hoped you enjoyed this post, just something I threw together quickly to try to keep my blog recent and enjoyable.

Happy 2014!

Hi Everyone!

2014 will be a better year for all of us (I hope).
I always have high hopes for the year ahead of us, I always want a better year than the last. Is that asking for too much? Starting off the new year with a bang can always be a little exciting if it's not expected. Fireworks, family and friends are the best part of celebrating.

I suck at New Year's Resolutions, always have and probably always will. There is one way to make sure that there is a constant reminder of my resolutions, to put them somewhere where they can never be taken away fully, the internet.
So, here they are:

1. To continuously post on my blog all year long
2. Achieve good marks in my school work
3. Meet new people and have new adventures

There you go, my new years resolutions. I think that they are pretty reasonable and necessary for the new year. Being hopeful and willing this year is a definite must.

Happy New Year everyone!
