Konad Nail Stamping

Hi everyone!

I recently looked in the draws and found a Konad Nail Art set. I've only used this a couple of times and I really liked the outcome of the nails! The point of this is to print exact patterns on the nails every time for a 'perfect' nail. On the website they give you a brief outline of their purpose this is what it says; "We at KonadNailArt.com strive to bring you more fun and ease to all your nail art needs. We source the globe for quality, innovative, fun and safe nail products for you."
I did not purchase these on their on line store, i purchased them off of eBay in a set and they were a little cheaper but not much. I'm putting the eBay link in to show you how pricey they can be (which is unfortunate, but they are a good polish). click here

Konad Nail art is an easy way to make your nails look glamorous with out all the brushes and annoying touch ups.  Konad is a printing system that allows you to put their specially designed, thicker polish on the metal plates on the pattern you desire, stamp it with the stamp then stamp it onto your nails.

I must admit, you have to have a good eye and an idea of where the design will go before you stamp it because sometimes disaster can strike. But be prepared and patient for these nails!

Unfortunately i do not have a picture of my nails because i got to a school where they don't allow you to wear nail polish but that's okay.

There are lots of designs and they're all really pretty and cute, there is some designs that have hearts, flowers, little animals, and actual patterns for the whole nail which is always nice for something different.

Thanks for reading of you did!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mummy's out there!

My sister and i spoiled our mum, well she kinda spoiled herself (ha ha). She got spoiled because she got her present a bit early. She got the puppy i mentioned in my other post, Charlie.

Dressing for the occasion!

That was the big surprise because he was a little on the expensive side but he was well worth it!

My sister and i dressed Charlie up and gave mum a card that i downloaded from Pinterest (that's one great site!). I got the card I gave to my mum here and put some paper from an art book into the printer because that paper is thicker than normal paper and holds ink and isn't as flimsy.
I also printed out some labels and stuck them on the inside of the card because it was a little blank and i got them here

Anyways, that's it from me

Doggy Mad!

Hello Everyone!

This past week has been a bit rough on my family and i. Our dog, Brodie had to be put down. Brodie was my mums dog. He was only 10 years old, and had a very spoilt life, he always got table scraps and pats and cuddles from my mum especially.

This is our Brodie on his last days

But despite all the sadness, my parents decided that we would get a new dog, not to replace our old dog but to fill the void of him not being there. So, yesterday, we got Charlie.

Charlie is a cutie! He is adorable, hilarious and so playful. He loves cuddles before bed too! He is black and white with bits of tan coloured fur through his face and tail area. He is only 8 1/2 weeks old  and is a Schoodle (Shitzu x poodle)

Charlie playing with his toy (Alfie) this morning

He is amazing company and likes to be very energetic, a lot. But all that energy runs out fairly quickly because Charlie had a few little naps today.

Look at those innocent, cheeky blue eyes!
The only unfortunate thing is that he isn't 'potty trained' yet. He does like to do his business in weird places but that's the joy of having a puppy, cleaning up after them!

Ahh the puppy life!

OPI Nails!

Hello Everybody!

Today is going to be all about my recent purchase, although it was a little on the pricey side,  they were definitely worth it! I purchased these 4 polishes for $40 AU dollars and they were on sale, i got them cheaper as they are usually around $15 - $20. I brought them off of Oz Sale, a website that has good deals and sales in Australia for almost any product.

(Sorry if the camera quality is crappy, i took them on my iPhone because my camera is broken :( )

I've left the names of the colour under the picture so if anyone likes it, you can just search for it.

The reason i was so excited to receive these was because I've never tried out OPI colours before, i felt like all of the colours i used are 'cheap' colours because of how everyone raves on about how good these ones are.

After i ripped open the parcel i went and painted my nails with the Green colour, ive had the colour on for a couple of days and so far so good if you ask me.

This is straight after i cleaned up and let them dry (which didn't take long at all because i had this)

The colours are very pigmented and only need one to two layers of the colour on the nail which is good because other wise it just takes too long and is frustrating when i need them done quickly.

I also had a few trials with the polishes, especially the dark blue one, my mum put some on her nail without a base coat. She just put one coat and she said that it had good coverage, didn't chip or stain her nail which is always good to hear.

I'm glad a got a variety of colours not just the one or two, i'm so happy and thrilled with my choices!
